In Miami's Wynwood street art district, graffiti writers and muralists from around the world have decorated hundreds of walls, often with the building owners' permission.

And this street art -- sanctioned and unsanctioned -- attracts 3 million annual visitors, according to the Wynwood Business Improvement District.
