Hotel owner and Studio 54 founder Ian Schrager sits in a winged, throne-like chair in the Philippe Starck-decorated lobby of Schrager's Delano Hotel on June 28, 1995, the day before the newly renovated hotel opened to the public.

The chair's wings resemble the fins or wings that also decorate the Delano's famous tower.
