Art Deco and MiMo: The Sea Isle (Miami Beach Ocean Resort) and the San Souci hotels
Designed in 1940 by Roy France in the Art Deco style, the Sea Isle Hotel (also known as the Miami Beach Ocean Resort) boasts a remarkable ornamental crown. And to its left is the San Souci Hotel, designed by France and Morris Lapidus in 1949 in a newer Miami Modern (MiMo) style.
