An Art Deco door treatment on an historic private home in Miami Beach's Mid-Beach district -- This is the acclaimed General Electric Model Home by architect Robert Law Weed , built in 1935 and based on an earlier home of the future that he designed as part of GE's "Century of Progress" exhibition at the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago. This photo is from the 1990s.
