Miami Modern (MiMo) style Publix supermarket in Miami Beach

The Publix supermarket chain built more than 60 stores like this in Florida, from the late 1940s to the late 1960s. This one in Miami Beach dates back to 1963. I made this photo in the early 1990s, but, as of 2017, the building was still in operation -- one of the few remaining specimens of this spacey, Jet-Age, neon lit, Miami Modern classic.
