Sunlight on restored 1953 Miami Modern motel
Late afternoon sunlight on a sculpture of nymphs and dolphins at the Miami Modern-style Vagabond Motel built in 1953. After a $5 million restoration it reopened on Miami's iconic Biscayne Bouevard in 2014. The original sculpture is by Juan Stacholy and the architect was Robert Swartburg, who also designed the landmark Delano Hotel in South Beach.
