Sunlight on the Chrysler Building's Art Deco crown
Sunlight glints off the stainless steel, Art Deco crown of New York's iconic Chrysler Building.
Designed by William Van Alen and completed in 1930, it was then the world's tallest building.
Though now surpassed in height, it endures as arguably the most elegant and iconic of all the skyscrapers.
