The Art Deco-style Marlin Hotel and a 1956 Cadillac convertible
The Art Deco-style Marlin Hotel on Miami Beach's Collins Avenue photographed in the 1990s with a pink, 1956 Cadillac convertible parked in front.
The hotel was designed in 1939 by L. Murray Dixon, one of the creators of South Beach's signature Tropical Deco style. The building was beautifully renovated in the 1990s by Island Records and movie mogul Chris Blackwell who also installed a small recording studio in the hotel.
