Info

A jet airliner soars over a decorative tower on Miami Beach's Art Deco-style MacArthur Hotel, designed by architect T. Hunter Henderson in 1930.

The pastel pink and Necco wafer green color scheme on this landmark building was created much later, in the 1980s, by preservation activist Leonard Horowitz, whose pastel vision for the neighborhood helped launch a renaissance.
